This dedicated portal allows you to commission professional-grade 3D prints directly from our studio. Here is how you can use this space:

  • Upload Your Designs: Use our secure form to send us your .STL, .3MF, or .GCODE files for review and printing.
  • Request Custom Scaling: Tell us exactly what size you need your “Forged Realms” assets to be, from standard 28mm miniatures to massive centerpieces.
  • Bundle Multiple Files: Save time by uploading a single .ZIP file containing an entire set of miniatures or a modular terrain kit.
  • Get Technical Support: Use our built-in File Submission Guide to troubleshoot any upload issues, such as file size limits (up to 25MB) or incorrect extensions.

    To ensure your custom miniatures and terrain are printed with the highest precision, please follow these guidelines before uploading your files to Dragon Bourne Studios.

    Accepted File Formats

    We currently accept the following file types for 3D printing:

    • .STL: The industry standard for high-fidelity 3D models.
    • .3MF: Recommended for complex files as it contains more manufacturing data.
    • .GCODE: Accepted only for pre-sliced models (please consult us first).
    • .ZIP: Use this to bundle multiple files into a single upload.

    Submission Checklist

    1. Scale Check: Ensure your model is exported at the intended tabletop scale (e.g., 28mm or 32mm).
    2. Watertight Geometry: Your model must be “manifold” (no holes in the mesh) to print successfully.
    3. File Naming: Please name your file clearly (e.g. Warrior_DragonBourne_V1.stl).

    Troubleshooting: Why is my upload failing?

    If the “Submit” button isn’t working or you receive an error message, it is likely due to one of the following technical hurdles:

    1. File Size is Too Large

    • The Issue: Our system is currently configured to accept files up to 25MB.
    • The Fix: If your STL is larger than 25MB, try using a “Decimate” modifier in your design software to reduce the polygon count, or compress the file into a .ZIP folder.

    2. Incorrect File Extension

    • The Issue: The form is strictly set to only allow specific extensions for security.
    • The Fix: Ensure your file ends exactly in .stl, .3mf, or .gcode. If you are trying to upload a .obj or .blend file, you must first export or “Save As” one of our accepted formats.

    3. Server Timeout (IONOS Limits)

    • The Issue: Very large files may take longer to upload than the server allows, causing a “timeout” error.
    • The Fix: Check your internet upload speed. If the problem persists, try zipping the file or sending a link to a cloud storage folder (like Google Drive or Dropbox) via our standard contact form instead.

    4. “Unknown Error” or Red Border

    • The Issue: This often means the server doesn’t recognize the file’s “MIME type” or the file is corrupted.
    • The Fix: Try re-exporting the file from your 3D modeling software and uploading it again.

    Artisan’s Tip: If you are uploading multiple parts for a single terrain piece, bundling them into one .ZIP file is the most reliable way to ensure nothing gets lost in the digital aether.
